Friday Photos: October 1-4

Just a few days into October, it's been a successful start to the "Live Lean Eat Green" October Photo A Day Challenge by Lindsay.

October 1: Eat extra veggies at lunch

Tossed some baby spinach on my leftover zucchini lasagne.

Always happy for more veggies.

2: Hold a wall sit as long as you can!

This was a good challenge. I'd like to do it more often!

3: Leave an operation beautiful note.

This brightened both my day, and someone else's.

4: Do as many burpees as you can in one minute.

I loathe burpees.  Lindsay, you're lucky I like you.

Although the photos make for fun #PROOF, the challenge is in the actual actions, rather than the "capture this on camera" part.

If you like what you see, join in! Check out The Lean Green Bean for more information, and follow my daily updates on Instagram - @dareyouto.

  1. Awesome! I'm enjoying this challenge, too, although so far I only got in day one. I need to get back on track!

  2. I'm trying to get in as many as I can remember for Lindsay's challenge. It's so fun!

  3. Awesome job! I am doing the Anytime fitness photo challenge for October, but loving all of these photos on instagram! (I'm KatSnF by the way!)

    1. Ooh very nice! And glad you're enjoying the photos :) I'll be sure to check yours out, too!

  4. I like how varied this challenge is! It's not just one theme, it's just a bunch of doing stuff that's good for you. The only challenge I've really been doing this October is the Leaf Negativity Behind challenge on Fighting For Wellness, because it really resonates with me. I am trying to be less planned and structured though so I feel like the last thing I need right now is anything telling me to do anything except be positive haha. Whatever works for everyone! At least there are tons of October challenges going on in the blogosphere this year.

    1. Agreed! Lots of fun things going on. Plenty of options to choose from, finding the one that's right for you. I love the "Leaf Negativity Behind" idea. So necessary, as temperatures drop and life gets crazy.

I would love to hear from you! Please share your thoughts, ideas, and experiences below:
