Cook with Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil {GIVEAWAY - closed}

On Tuesday, I talked about why you should cook with coconut oil.  If you missed that post, make sure to check it out and learn about which oils are safe to use in high heat.

Lucky for you, Tropical Traditions  is going to help you get started!  In the last post, I recommended Tropical Traditions as a trusted brand of high-quality coconut oil, and upon my own request, they're offering one lucky reader a jar of this:

Win 1 quart of Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil!

From Tropical Traditions:
Tropical Traditions is America’s source for coconut oilTheir Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is hand crafted in small batches by family producers, and it is the highest quality coconut oil they offer. You can read more about how virgin coconut oil is different from other coconut oils on their website: What is Virgin Coconut Oil?

You can also watch the video they produced about Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil:

Tropical Traditions also carries other varieties of affordable high quality coconut oil. Visit their website to check on current sales, to learn about the many uses of coconut oil, and to read about all the advantages of buying coconut oil online. Since the FDA does not want us to discuss the health benefits of coconut oil on a page where it is being sold or given away, here is the best website to read about the health benefits of coconut oil.

Disclaimer
: I wrote Tuesday's post on coconut oil because of my personal experience learning about and using it over the past year.  The content preceding this giveaway was based on my own findings and opinions (with assistance from those linked sources).  After completing the post, I contacted Tropical Traditions, a trusted coconut oil producer, to host a giveaway.  If you order by clicking on any of my links and have never ordered from Tropical Traditions in the past, you will receive a free book on Virgin Coconut Oil, and I will receive a discount coupon for referring you. I was not obligated to write a positive review; I really like the oil!  I hope it helps you get started as you dare to cook with coconut oil.

  3. I use coconut oil occasionally to cook with (like I said in your last blog post, I usually forget that I have it). I do like to use it with curries, because I think it enhances the flavors.

  4. I LOVE Tropical traditions coconut oil. I now only bake with coconut oil and I think that it's important for people to know that it doesn't impart a 'coconut' (or suntan oil) flavor to things AT ALL. I now far prefer it to butter.
