Work out WITHOUT a gym!

No gym? No excuse!

Today, I bring you ways to work out without a gym.  Yesterday, I guest-blogged a post over at HellaWella.com about different ways to exercise on the road or in your own home.

Using DVDs at home

In the post, I suggest...
  • Walking and Running outside
  • Stair-climbing and jump-roping
  • DVDs and online videos
  • Body-weight movements and Tabata training
  • The "Deck of Cards" workout
  • Inexpensive equipment that you can keep at home
How can these instruct your workout?

Check out Working Out Without A Gym to learn all about these at-home fitness ideas and share your ideas!

And have a fabulous Labor Day weekend :)

  1. I do yardwork for my "gym" workout- dug six holes for bushes, humped the unused dirt in my wheelbarrow to another part of the yard to fill in low spots, spread the dirt around with a shovel/rake and in between did pull-ups on the tree in the back yard. Workout done and 6 new plants for butterflies in my back yard!

  2. I'll definitely be checking out that post! With school being back in full-swing, some days it's really difficult to make it to the gym!

    1. Yep, I feel ya! With work all day and school at night, I'll be relying on some of these, myself.

  3. Working out without a gym is a great alternative to traditional gym workouts! While I love the atmosphere of being at the gym, sometimes because of time or other reasons, I just use my basement or living room!

    1. Agreed. Hitting the gym always gets me in a better mindset than when I'm at home, but I do love me some Pjs Yoga :)

    1. Yes, thank you. Fortunately, the productivity of the English language ensured that you understood, anyway.
